Not sure what to say?

About 70 years ago, Conny played lead alto sax in a high school dance band in which I also played. In the picture, Conny is second from the left. The band never had a name, but was simply known for its leader, Joe Freitag (on string bass). I admired and envied the power and fluency with which Conny played. Music seemed to flow effortlessly from the horn beneath his fingers. We've had no contact since those days, but I'm not at all surprised to learn that he spent his life as a professional...

We all share the same thoughts about Conny
- A great Man
- A great Father
- A great Husband
- A great Friend
I was lucky enough to get to know Conny and share stories and laughs. A gentle giant he was and the music he played was amazing!
My condolences to the entire family.
He will be truly missed !

Barbara and family I am very sorry to hear about Conny he will truly be missed. I will always remember the beautiful songs he played for us at Christmas.

Barb, I am so sorry for your loss. Conny was so kind and always smiling. I will always remember the night we went out and he had a jam session with the band playing the sax. Everyone loved his solo. He will be missed.

Such a good person and always very kind and humble to everyone. Prayers for the family. He was a good man and will be missed.
