Dear Conway & Owens family, you never know how much a person has influenced you until they are gone.

When I was a snotty nosed wanna-be singer, thinking I was hot stuff...

Conway taught how me a TRUE "professional" carried himself--with humility and never getting above the "crowd".

Thank you, Conway for letting me sleep on your couch many nights, eat at your table, and soak up knowledge from you,,,

Thank you, for doing things always with a sense of humor and...

A "singers' singer" Conway's magnificent voice and ability was a source of wonder for not only the audience. The many, many times we performed together were a great pleasure to me and all the members of "Timmy & the Tuxedos" I looked forward to those gigs with great anticipation knowing the great expanse of material that we had available to perform as a result of Conway's truly broad-range of ability in style. He had virtually no limits to what he was capable of singing, and all with great...

I am saddened to hear of the death of a great entertainer and Gentleman, Conway. I have had the pleasure of performing with him when he stood in for another singer in my band, "The Motion". He "worked it!" I am so dissapointed in myself for just checking my e-mail and getting the news too late to show my support and condolences. I do express my deepest sympathy to his family and all those who knew him and loved him. We in the entertainment world will miss his great contribution to making...

Wow. I truly was just thinking about Conway within the last 2 weeks, and now to hear he is gone just breaks my heart. I met this mighty man through Jerry Shirley when he was here doing recordings as fund raisers for different charities in town. I was blown away by his voice and his smile. We would often sit and talk at Tower City when I worked there. This city has lost one of its true treasures and characters. God Bless you and your family my brother.
God Speed.
