Not sure what to say?

My beloved Aunt Coralie, you have no idea how much I will miss you. You have always been the rock in my life who always encouraged and rooted for me as much as my own Mom. How lucky I was to have you in my life. Not a day will go by that I won't think of your laugh and hear your voice giving me the advice I always sought from you. One hundred more years wouldn't be enough time with you. I love you!

I always enjoyed seeing Coralie at our Olympia High School class of 1958 reunions every 5 years and at a class luncheon just last fall. She will be missed - Carol Malysz Yett

Coralie, This candle is for you to light the way - along with your laughter and love and friendship.
Bunny Hooper (classmate OHS) Olympia, Washington

I feel so fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to speak with Coralie around November when Beverly gave me her phone no. I've spent most of my years after high school, where I got to know Coralie, in Alaska and didn't get to talk to her very much. She is remembered for her good nature and lots of laughter. I will miss her lots. Jerry Lehman

My memories of Aunt Coralie's laughter filling a room at Ocean Shores will never fade. Her sense of humor was awesome and her cooking was legendary! She was a wonderful, loving aunt to me and I will forever smile when I think of her.

TO MY SISTER CORALIE:

THE 'GANG OF FOUR' IS MINUS ONE, SO SADLY. I WILL SHARE THIS POEM AT THE MEMORIAL ALSO;

NOT TOO TALL BUT SURELY STOUT
AND TO HER FAMILY SO DEVOUT

IN KITCHENS SO MANY SHE COOKED UP A STORM
AND ALWAYS, WAY OVER THE NORM

SHE WAS A TEACHER PAR EXCELLENCE
WITH PLENTY OF INTELLIGENCE

AT THE UW AND PARIS SHE LEARNED SO WELL
AND TAUGHT HI SCHOOL FRENCH FOR A VERY LONG SPELL

BEAUTIFUL AND...

The three amigos
54 years ago, Corey Brassfield, Judi Jones and myself formed a bond and became tried and true friends forever. I don't believe we ever spent an unhappy moment together.
I am so lucky to have had Corey as a part of my life. So many wonderful memories. I was the only high school friend that would spend friday night at her home on Eskridge...The reason: Twila would get us up saturday morning at the crack of dawn with her famous cry, "Get your working...

Corey was a dear friend. I looked forward to seeing her, sharing her wonderful kitty stories, and spending time in the summer on our pink patio. She loved her family, her pets and life in general. Her warmth and humor were contagious! I will always miss her.

Although the obit here in the Daily Olympian was quite well done, it didn't elaborate on your love and loyalty to your parents and siblings. Further, it did not mention your wonderful ability to produce several kinds of cookies, cinnamon rolls, and wild mountain blackberry pies (includes finding and picking the berries). All of my children were raised anticipating these treats at the family reunion (Ocean Shores) each year. What a great asset you were to the extended family. Hard-working...
