Best Doctor Ever!

RIP Dr. Bittner. Your wife Janell was my teacher in Riverside,CA. I'm 57 now and I still think of her kindness and beautiful face.

Over two years has passed since Dr. Bittner has passed away. Hard to believe. He was my doctor many many years. I still miss how he sincerely listened when I tried to articulate a condition or symptom. Truly compassionate and caring to me. In retirement he stayed in touch with his former patients, move to the south and helping in many ways those communities that he called home. He was very happy to meet President Carter in Georgia, attending his bible study there. I really miss Dr.Bittner´s...

I didn´t know Dr. Bittner, but I wanted to send along my condolences to Janell, who was my third-grade teacher in Riverside, California so many years ago. So sorry for your loss.

I cannot believe that a year has passed. No surprise that the world was a better place when Cordon lived among us. He is dearly missed as a friend and colleague. Mark

Dr. Bittner interviewed me for my first nursing job in 1985. I got the job and had the pleasure of working with him for over 25 years. He was so kind and approachable, never to busy to answer a question or share a story. Alone with hundreds of patients I adored him and his nurse Lori. They were more like family than coworkers. I will never forget his deep chuckle of a laugh. This man was a true gem. My heart goes out to his family.

Thank you all so much for sharing your stories and support. We miss him greatly and we appreciate the outpouring of love and memories.

Dr. Bittner was my family's beloved doctor for most of our life in Cowlitz County. My family sends its sincere condolences to his family.

Dr. Bittner was a wonderful, caring physician beloved by many and he and his wife were active in the community and did all they could to support enhancing it for everyone. He leaves a legacy of healing and caring. My thoughts and prayers are with Janell and the family.
