Not sure what to say?

I love you Martinez.

Hey Corey, sorry it took me so long to write, but i just wanted to write and let you know that you´re on my mind almost every day. I regret that I couldn´t save you and that you didn´t get to come home with us or live your life to be an old man. I want you to know that I´m living my life in your honor. I now have four kids, a son and three daughters who I love dearly. Your sacrifices will always be remembered, and I will share your story with my children so they understand the bravery that...

After ten years, your name still rings in my memory. You were a student aide for me in my first full year of teaching. You desperately wanted the position and you were such a determined little guy, how could I say no? You always knew the military life was for you and I bring you up almost on a daily basis with my students. I have a "Corey Hicks" chair that bears your name, and it is for you whenever you feel like visiting. You will forever have a place in my class and in my heart.

I'm so sorry for all the lives we lost over there. But you was my son best friend forever he has a tattoo in your menbering covers over his whole back. Got bless you

Corey I think of you often. I am sad that we lost touch, but am so very proud of you. Thank you for helping protect our freedom.

Very proud to carry your flag. Nov. 9th, 2013

I was honored to carry your flag for the Arizona Fallen Soliders in the East Valley Veterans' Day parade on Nov. 9th, 2013. You are forever in my heart.

We spent a lot of time in elementary school together. I'm sorry we never finished that book we were writing.
