Corey was one of my best friends growing up from middle school to beyond high school. We always roamed the streets together, going on cruises around the Mattoon country side and lake. I knew his mother very well. His mom and I were good friends up until she passed away. I haven't spoken to Corey in years as we grew older and I started a family. I'll never forget Corey he was indeed one of my greatest childhood friends. Solid soul. He'll be missed, fly high buddy!

I don´t have as many memories of Corey as others do, but he has had a special place in my heart. When Corey was about 10, we adopted his baby brother, Dylan. These are pictures of them together. One is Dylan´s first night home from the hospital. We picked him up the next day, but for that night, Corey held and watched over his little brother, keeping him safe. The next picture is the day Dylan´s biological dad Dale passed away from MS. As tragic as it was, the 3 brothers were together...
