Corey and I were best friends in 6th grade before I left Maple Lake. I have some stories we shared together that I think Jaylyn and especially Hannah might like to know. I love to connect and share them with you.

We want to extend our prayers to the Smith family and to Jaylyn's family as well. We live in MN and have known Tim and Kathy since our sons were young. They are grown now and we never expect something like this to happen. My uncle David Fison and his family all live in Anchorage.. what a small world it would be if you knew them. Corey & Jaylyn, you two shared the sweetest love. One that was meant to be and cannot be severed, even in death. Your love was inspiring and a breath of fresh air in this world. Your love was a light unto the darkness. You two gave the world, and those whose lives you touched, the most precious of gifts. The miracle, Hannah, that the two of you brought into this world will grow and flourish and bring more love, light and goodness into this place. I love each of you. You are each so special....
