Betty,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I just found out about Corey yesterday from Bethany. My children, Bethany and Justin, and I met Corey as a young boy and really didn't get to know him very well but I do remember a couple of Christmas' when Corey took my children under his wing when we came to your home. Our time with you, Don, and Corey was short, but I thought of the 3 of you often when I drove by the house nearly everyday. My husband even got the chance to meet Corey at...

I met Corey several years ago when I worked at the Stein Haus. He was my dancing partner. Man, could he cut a rug. And even though I moved to Port Huron a few years ago, I would stop at his house on my way to see my family. He was an awesome friend, we had a lot of good times. Alot of laughs. I will never forget. God bless you.

Betty,
I was saddened to here of the lose of Corey. I remember the times we had together when we were kids at family get togethers and visits. He will be missed. I just found out about Corey from your Mother (Aunt Pearl) yesterday.I called here to let her know my Father passed away on Friday. You are in my prayers Betty.

Love and sympathy,
Jody

We did not find out about it till the friday after. It...

Corey was family friend and best friend to my son, Jim. He visited our home frequently and befriended my brother, David, who is downs syndrome. Corey and David had long discussions about WWW Wrestling and Country Music. We will always remember that Corey was always a friend in need to Jim....in good times and bad. God bless you, Betty. Thank you for raising such a beloved son.

My heart and my families heart goes out to your family. I was informed of his death by a mutual friend this morning. Corey and I were good friends since we met at St. Lorenz. I even recall the time his father took us to see the Harlem Globetrotters. I dont make it back to Michigan very often but I was back there in early July and it now seems God gave us one more chance to sit and talk for awhile. I happened across Corey's path one of those days and we enjoyed some conversation. Take...

Aunt Betty,
Corey will be missed at our family gatherings. He was always one that loved entertaining the little ones. Our 3 girls loved the attention he gave them. We know that his bumpy road is now smooth. I bet he will continue to put smiles on many faces.

God Bless,
Shawn, Bill, Ashley, Brianne and Haley (Holly) Burritt

I am still in shock after hearing what happened to Corey. He was such a great guy who would help anyone and everyone if he could. He was one of the very few people that i remained in contact with after High School. Just a few months ago we were talkin about the parties that we would have at his house. There was a time that we cleaned up so good after the party his mom knew. Because when she left, an arm was broken on a chair and was fixed when she got home. We laughed so hard about that. I...
