Cori S. Anderson, of Jersey City, NJ, formerly of Newark, N.J., departed this earthly life on January 12, 2019. Born in New York City, he was a member of Church of God by Faith Church in Newark, N.J. and was employed by Coca Cola Bottling Co. for 23 years. Cori was a devoted father to Corey A. Anderson of NJ; beloved son of William Thomas Anderson and Alice Vinson Anderson of Ahoskie, NC; loving brother of William Keith Anderson (Rashana) of Charlotte, NC; grandson of Audrey Vinson Gatling of Ahoskie, NC; and dear uncle to Jasmine, Jada, Jonah, and Gia Anderson. He also leaves to cherish precious memories many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of his life on Sunday, January 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Evening Light Church of God In Christ Jesus, 505 NC Hwy 305, Windsor, North Carolina, 27983. Hunter's Funeral Home in Ahoskie, NC is handling arrangements.
Its so hard to believe you are no longer with us. I had the honor of knowing you in high school. May you Rest In Peace, you will never be forgotten. My condolences to your family

I just happened to go on your Facebook page and this is the news I was greeted with. I tried calling your phone and got no answer. You were a great person Cori and my heart aches for you. I just found out my good friend and classmate is gone. My Junior Prom date from Our Lady of Good Counsel, HS. We wore pink and white and wed both just got our drivers license. Good times, good memories. Ill always remember you Cori, your hazel eyes and beautiful smile. SIP my friend.
