Corinne Levon Carr

Chesterfield - Corinne (Jester) (Levon) Carr, 86, Chesterfield, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother died November 8, 2009 at Community Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness. She was born September 2, 1923 in Anderson and was a lifetime resident of this area Corinne attended Anderson High School and retired in 1972 from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors after 28 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholc Church and 3rd Order of Franciscans. Corinne also served as a Eucharistic Minister. Survivors include her children, Nancy Gaylor & husband, Bill of Arizona, Carolyn Levon of Cape Geradeau, MO, Julie Bertin & husband, Anthony of Canton, OH, John A. Levon & wife, Kathy of Pittsboro, IN, David Levon & wife, Ellen of Chesterfield, Kathy Barnett, Michael Levon, both of Anderson and Jason Carr of Noblesville; stepchildren, Jack L. Carr II, William Carr, and Terri Carr; twenty-one grandchildren, Brian Gaylor, Lisa Gilbert & husband, Dan, Amy Gaylor, Joshua Sacha & wife, Sarah, Josiah Sacha, Anastasia Sacha, Jonah Sacha & wife, Louie, Peter Bertin, Marcus Bertin & wife, Tracy, Anthony Bertin & wife, Tina, Matthew Levon & wife, Brittany, Jessica White & husband, Campbell, Angela Levon, Johnny Johnson and wife, Amy, David Barnett, Megan Stephens, Erin Carr-Vargas, Heather Carr, Billy Carr, Delan Carr & Brianna Butcher; sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her second husband, whom she married November 26, 1969, Jack Carr; first husband, John Levon; parents, Jesse B. & Lottie (Hudson) Jester; brothers, Rex Jester, Jesse Jester, Virgil Jester; and a sister, Ethylee Gibson. Corinne was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed being a grandmother and great grandmother. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson. There will be a 7:30 pm rosary service. Services will be Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 10:00 AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1115 Pearl St., Anderson, IN 46016, with Rev. Robert Williams officiating.
