WEBB, Mrs. Corlis E., of Richmond, departed this life May 19, 2013. She was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Webb. She is survived by her husband, Henry L. Webb; one daughter, Kellie Webb; one son, Cory Webb; one sister, Joyce Grasty; two brothers, Melvin Sydnor and Harry Smith; one uncle, Johnny Thacker; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; her father-in-law, Henry Q. Webb; four sisters-in-law, Pam and Virginia Smith, Tammy Webb and Charlotte Sydnor; four brothers-in-law, Curtis Grasty and Wayne, Weldon and Clifton Webb; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Church of God in Richmond, 350 W. Roanoke St., where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Apostle Michael Bennett, pastor, officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Our hearts ache today as all of you prepare to say farewell to Corlis & we can't be there with you. Saying goodbye is never easy, but over time, cherished memories will make the pain easier to bare & someday make us smile as we remember her sweet & gentle spirit. She was taken from us much too soon, but as people of faith, we all know God never makes mistakes. Corlis' pain & suffering are over now, she is " Safe in HIS...

I went to Huguenot High School with Corlis. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing.

May the Good Lord be you all at this time of sorrow. My heartfelt sympathy to you all.

My Prayers are with the Webb family. I enjoyed being in Corlis and her family's company when they were at Broad Rock Baptist church.

I pray God's comfort and love will embrace the family as you cherish the precious memories of your loved one.
