Not sure what to say?

Neil was my brother-in-law and one of the most interesting and funny people I've known. Just seeing that picture of his leprechaun grin brings him back fully to my mind and heart. He was really a Renaissance man and no doubt he's bringing laughter and love to the spirit world now.

I just found out about Neil's passing. My heart is broken. He was an extraordinary guy and I'm honored to know him

Neil was a kind man with a big heart who did all he could to help others, especially the veterans who were patients at the VAMC in Salt Lake. He was a man of many talents, using his acting skills to inspire vets and to teach key issues of patient behavior and assessment to both nursing and medical students at the University of Utah in their labs.
And Neil was a colorful individual who never failed to welcome visitors into his home. He taught me a lot about poetry and how magical it can...

There are so many things that I remember and will cherish about you Uncle Neil. My favorite is how you would always great me and Megan with, Hello Love or Hello darlin' how are ya. As I write this I hear him saying it. There was a lot I didn't know about Uncle Neil, but I feel that I knew the important stuff and how much he loved family. He is truly missed and always will be. We love you Uncle Neil! Until we see you again. Love Kaylene, Jerren, Dylon and Megan.

I didn't know you Neil, but feel connected as we went to NSC about 4 years apart. From one NSC grad and lover of Shakespeare to another: "Now cracks a noble heart. Good night sweet prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest"

Neil was such a wonderful friend when I lived in Brooklyn. He shared so many great stories and lived life to the fullest! RIP my friend!

How could anyone not love Neil?!! He was a fierce lover of life, an extraordinary intellect, a true Renaissance man. He was my former brother-in-law, taught me to play bridge (he was a Life Master), and was a dear friend in NYC. I’m glad and grateful to have known him!!! As the Irish say, Neil, I’ll be seeing you down the road...

I got to know Neil at the George Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City where he was an on-call volunteer with the No Vet Dies Alone program, assisting fellow veterans in their last hours on Earth. RIP Neil.

I hadn't seen Neil in years, but I enjoyed his humor & wit when I knew him. May he rest in God's peace.
