Not sure what to say?

During my twenty years at Western Missouri Mental Health Center, I never encountered a kinder, more inclusive person than Cornie. When I retired there he put together a beautiful memory book for me bound with the etched leather that he did so beautifully. A most special human being !!

Just seeing this. I want to say thank you, Cornie, for staying in touch with us in Maine. You were a supporter of our historical society, and an all-around kind and friendly person, often sending us gifts. Thank you for your friendship and may you rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Cornies family.... He was a true advocate and I have many pieces of his leatherwork (which I treasure)!! I´m so sorry for your loss!! I miss Connie too!

I'm sorry - I was not aware of Connie's previous death until I reread the obituary.

I have the priviledge of being Cornie's youngest cousin. I was the son of Cornie's only aunt - Helena. I am a retired physician, but my wife and I had the honor of being guests in Cornie & Connie's home many years ago when I was in medical school and my wife was in KU's nursing school. Our condolences go to Connie and Cornie's family.

Worked with Cornelius at WMMHC. He was a great man who cared about his patients, coworkers and was great at his job. My Condolences and Prayers to the family.

I met Cornie in 1978 when he was Director of Nursing. So professional and kind hearted. He was one of the most amazing people I've ever met.
