Not sure what to say?

Condolences to all of Conn's family members. I wondered about him, having not heard anything for some time. I am thankful for this website through which I found why there was no longer any contact.

It saddens me to hear of his passing. Conn and I corresponded many times through the years about Witt family information. I learned valuable insights about my great grandparents (his grandparents) through his kindly letters, first via US post and then through email and Facebook. He was very...

Shelly and Kim,
I just got word today of Conn's passing. I am so sorry to hear the news. He was my best friend for many years in Ripon and we had many adventures together over those years. I have such fond memories of our years together with Brent Folkerts as the summer time painting crew around Ripon. I was able to see Conn just this past September in Michigan and had a great time talking about our years together. May God bless you as you go through the sorrow of saying your...

Geri and family,
My deepest sympathy to you in the loss of Conn. I was blessed to have had him as my high school English teacher at RC and thus, he influenced my life in untold ways. He impressed upon me a love of poetry and English literature. He encouraged my need to write, and as a result I hold a degree in Literature. He was kind to those of us who got lost in the crowd during our high school years, and I will never forget that he assigned a part he knew I wanted in the school play....

My condolences to Conn's family, his sisters and sisters-in-law. He was my first cousin, though I really didn't know him. I believe I only met him once at a mini-Witt family reunion picnic in Grand Rapids when I was a young child, sometime between 1957 and 1961 when my sister Marie was in Calvin. I wish I had known him better. He had a wonderful voice; I heard a him sing on a facebook post by Geri Witt, I believe, a couple of years ago. My Uncle John Hughes (through my marriage to Wayne),...

Geri, I am so sad to hear that Conn died. I remember you talking about him, when we worked together in the ER. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Shelly, Kim and families, so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. When we spoke at 2nd CRC a few weeks ago you had said he was doing well. We will be keeping you in our prayers.
