Not sure what to say?

I have many wonderful memories of Cork Stradling. I remember him when I was a young boy when the Stradlings moved to McLean, Virginia when I was a young Marine whom the Stradlings visited at MCRD; and I treaure my memories of Cork as a frequent guest at his and Julia's home in San Diego. I will miss you Cork.

Cork was a great neighbor that was always willing to help out on any project that a neighbor needed help. All the walks we had by the river and even over to Fiesta Island that would included Rusty, many problems were worked out in the discussions. I will miss him as will the rest of the neighborhood.

Julia, Cindy, James and Janet-
My deepest sympathy to you all.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Corky, he meant so much to me and my whole family. He will be truly missed by all.
All of my love always, Karin

Thumbs Up To Corky for a life well lived.

At the service yesterday I learned that I have one more great regret in my life, that I didn’t get to know you better, but I shall be forever thankful that my family and I are most privileged to share Marseilles street with you and your family.

Your priceless “Thumbs Up” photograph will be in my memory forever, as a testimony to your lifetime of love and integrity.

You are indeed a role model Corky, among many role...

Dear Julia and family, While we have not had a chance to meet Corky and you personally, it has been our pleasure to share the friendship of your daughter, Cindy. Cindy is a tribute to the excellent values and parenting you have instilled in your children. All of our Saddleback Bible Group share in your loss, and you are all in our prayers. God Bless, Alice, Al, Donna, Jaime, Mike and Tom.

Julia, Cindy, James, and Janet: We remember the many times we camped and enjoyed many other fun times together. We remember our 1st cruise with Cork and Julia in '88, and then again in the Fall of '05 from Montreal to Boston. Your friendship helped make it a great cruise! We'll treasure those memories forever. Corky will be missed.
With love, Jack and Betty

Bob and I send our deepest sympathy
to you, Julia, and your family. We
feel so blessed to have had Cork in
our lives as a friend. He was such
a special person. We shall miss him.

I remember him as the youngest Division Head in the NOSC org. chart up unto that date (1970). We both did a 2 yr. stint in Wash.DC in NAVELEX at the same time and sat near each other during our stay.He seemed totally in control of his world while there (offered his parking space to me TEMPERARILY right across from our building). I was scared stiff.
He was ten yrs. younger than me. Never occurred to me that he would precede me to Heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are with Julia and her family at the loss of Cork.
Sincerely,
Karen & Peter Cipot
