Not sure what to say?

I also babysat Doug and Jennifer and spent many hours at the Messer home in Nottingham Forest in Houston. I particularly recall babysitting one New Year's Eve night and being asked to stay for dinner after they returned from their evening out. The 3 of us had a lovely steak dinner together. She made me feel so loved and special! I also have fond memories of being friends with Becky and Linda, her nieces. Doug and Jennifer, I am sad for your loss and ask that the Lord would comfort you in...

I'm so very sorry to hear this. I use to baby sit Doug and Jennifer and loved your mom and her infectious laugh. My prayers to you and your family

With her big expressive eyes and bright smile, Cornelliability will be surely missed.

May her memory be a blessing. My heart goes out to the whole family

Dearest Doug, Jenny, family and friends of Cornellia. I am so sorry to hear about Cornellia's passing. This is such a loss for all of us. Cornellia and Bill took me in as their own together with the Griffis family, when I was at my unhappiest, and turned my exchange year in the US into such a special time. I adored her spirit, her warmness, her humour and of course her cooking. She will always have a very special place in my heart. I wish you all a lot of strength and hope you all can find...

God bless Cornelia. We shared many childhood memories playing as first cousins at grandma Orsak's.

Cornellia laughed often and easily. She gave much of herself to others and had boundless energy and enthusiasm. Our family always loved being in her company and left feeling better having spent time with her! We are so grateful for years of memories and milestones, and we are so sad that she is gone. We know she is at peace now, and we want to offer our sympathies to all of the family! We love you all very much and you are in our thoughts and prayers! Love, James, Jen, Ashley and Sydney...

Cornellia was full of kindness and passion - she was a nurturer to all of those around her. Just to be in her presence you felt loved and cared for, and to be invited to her dinner table was to be treated to a celebration of friendship, family, food and wine and laughter. She was the consummate hostess and a dear friend to our family for over 30 years. We loved her very much. I will never forget her laugh, her voice and her warm hugs. Jenny and Doug are such amazing stewards of their...
