I also babysat Doug and Jennifer and spent many hours at the Messer home in Nottingham Forest in Houston. Cornellia laughed often and easily. She gave much of herself to others and had boundless energy and enthusiasm. Our family always loved being in her company and left feeling better having spent time with her! We are so grateful for years of memories and milestones, and we are so sad that she is gone. Cornellia was full of kindness and passion - she was a nurturer to all of those around her. Just to be in her presence you felt loved and cared for, and to be invited to her dinner table was to be treated to a celebration of friendship, family, food and wine and laughter.
