Not sure what to say?

Auntie Corrine: The last angel of the Nels and Ida Giere children. What a wonderful, loving person she was.

So sorry to hear of Corrine´s passing. She was such a beautiful lady inside & out. From a little girl to an adult I always felt a warm, welcoming and loving feeling in Corrine presence. Her laugh, I have to say was the best in the world! When her & Larry would get together with my parents, you could feel the absolute joy in that room. She was a blessing, and I will always remember her warm, contagious, beautiful smile

I am so sorry to hear about Corrine´s passing. She was one of the loveliest ladies I´ve ever met. I had the pleasure of meeting her and playing bridge with Corrine at the Oak Hills Bridge Club. She was delightful and a bright light for the short time I knew her. I can only imagine the loss felt by those close to her.

I am so very sorry to hear about Corrine's passing. I got to know her and her family while at a Shepherd of the Valley, around the time I was going through confirmation in the 1970s. For years I would bump into her at the grocery store. She was always a kick to chat with.

My aunt Corinne lived blocks from my home in Van nuys California, she was my mother's sister-in-law, who married my father's brother. When you came to her home she made you feel welcomed, and gave you a sense of happiness, with her beautiful smile and gentle ways. I can still hear her singing Sunday hymns at St Andrew's Church. I missed her and my uncle and my cousins when they moved from the San Fernando valley, though I looked forward to Summers in Minnesota seeing her and the families...

My aunt was a very special person in my life and so many others. Her laugh and her faith were constant in every interaction. She will live in our memories forever:

Corrine was a founding member of the Oak Hills Bridge group. We share many good laughs, friendships, stories to share and many hugs and loves. Corrine was a bridge shark! Loved to push for game! She was so good at it. Her good friend Bea is now playing with her in the beyond. My condolences to the family. Corrine loved life, her family especially and her husband and home they shared raising their family. Thank you for the notice and the best to all of you, God bless, Nancy Neuman

For the children of Signe Rinke, Auntie was much more than an Aunt. She was a treasure full of love and laughter and wisdom.

Corrine was a bright light in the lives of so many. I loved visiting with her, even as recently as a few weeks ago, joining her for lunch. She was so vital and conversant and we enjoyed talking about our families - especially the grandchildren we share. She was about to start rehearsing with a choir in her community and the director stopped by our table in the dining room to show her the greatly-enlarged music folder he´d made for her! Everyone there loved her as much as she loved them! ...
