The last time I saw Corry was about a week before his untimely ascent into heaven. He gave me words of encouragement, as he always did. He definitely had a way to make you smile regardless of the situation. I looked up to him like an older brother. I still do. I miss you Chief.

Saw your family at the American Heroes 10k run. You all did a beautiful thing in honoring him that way! His ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten. I felt a very strong feeling about Corry for some reason and decided I would look up the Red River 44 and see what that was all about. It turns out that Corry died the same day my son was born. I pray that you and your family will find peace. Thank you for sharing his story!
