It's just 2 months shy of Memorial Day, but I got to thinking about all the people & dogs from services I've lost the other day. In particular, I thought a lot about both you & CPL Don Fowler since we were good friends & band mates in high school. I just wondered how different life might be with you guys still here? You'd be amazed at what has happened on this planet the last few years! You guys were funny, caring, kind & a voice of reason sometimes for me in those days. God calls people home...

Cory, I miss you every single day. Words can't describe the pain some days. I know you are always around and looking out for everyone you love. Every time I see a butterfly, I know you're near and it makes me feel safe. You were such a good friend and I wish you were still here

It still hurts, brother. I miss you. Cory is 9 now, he'll be 10 this year. There's two more now. Colton (3) and Alice (2). I think of you, and that day, every day.

Miss you man. Always thinking about you and the times you always had my back no matter what the situation.
