Cory Michael Buckley, age 21 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012. He was born on April 6, 1991 in Merrillville, Indiana. Cory was a lifetime Hobart resident and attended Hobart High School. He loved riding dirtbikes, fishing, "rapping-LOL", and having fun with his family and friends. Cory was the "realist" person ever.
He is survived by 1 brother, Chad (Cody Huff) Buckley of Hobart, 1 sister, Kendell Buckley of Hobart, IN; his mother, Tammy (Brian) Buckley of Hobart, IN; his father, Ed (Jamie) Buckley of Hobart, IN; IN; grandmother, Marty Burns of Rensselaer, IN; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services are Monday, October 1, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Robert C. Breitbarth. Cremation will follow with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation is Monday October 1, 2012 just prior to the service from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. Cory was loved by so many people. He was an great person inside and out and will be dearly missed.
