I worked with Cory for a short period of time while on the Halyburton. He transferred only a few months after I checked onboard, but my memory of him has stuck with me ever since. He was a very kind hearted person who loved his family till the end. Life is not always fair and it seems we are always remind of this in the worst ways. I am just thankful I was able to have known Cory. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Voss family in your time of grief. May your memories bring you...

My most heartfelt condolences to the Voss family in this time of mourning.
Cory was my friend when were stationed together in the USS Halyburton. It was a pleasure working alongside him during those four years together in the supply office; I will always remember him for the caring and funny guy that made me laugh so many times. And Cory, thanks for usually being on time to relieve me on the aft lookout :)
May he rest in peace and justice be brought for his untimely passing.

My deepest sympathy to Cory's entire family. Cory served with me onboard the USS Halyburton, and was a very close friend. He was one of the best Storekeepers I've ever served with. It hurts to know he is gone, but he will remain alive within me. I know God will see you through this difficult time. God bless!

To the entire Voss family. Please accept my deepest sincere sympathy of the loss of Cory.
We were stationed together aboard USS HALYBURTON FFG-40. It was my pleasure serving as his Chief.
He was a hard worker and loved the sport of Basketball.
He will be sorely missed by us all.
Eventhough I have retired, I still consider myself his Chief. God bless you all during your time of sorrow.
