Peter Bower again....as I mentioned Cosmo brought my parents together...they were all friends at Yale but they likely knew each other before then. Where in Connecticut was Cosmos born?

Dear Family of Cosmo, My father Joe Bower was a friend of Cosmos. They both were Marines serving at the end of WW2 and also the Korean War. They met when they were at Yale after WW2. I was born in December of 1946 and lived for first 4 years in the Quonset Huts out by Yale Bowl. Cosmos' name came up again and again as I was growing up. There was a photograph my mother showed me of him visiting the Quonset Huts and my parents. I'm hunting through all the old photos now. The main thing I wanted...

I wanted to thank everyone for the nice words about my grandfather. Everyday I miss him and think about him.

Just heard of Cosmo's passing and very saddened.

We only new him for a short part of his life, but always enjoyed time spent with him.

Real sorry to read about Cosmos passing.Our most sincere condolences to his family. It was a pleasure to work in his Department at Concord for 26 years-he will truly be missed.
