Not sure what to say?

The first time I saw and then hooked on the Flying U Rodeo events was in the early 1970s at such arenas as Bakersfield, Fresno, Indio, Springville. These were truly good times. Have a good rest Cotton, your boys will take it from here. Peace and love to his wife and the ranch.

I first met Cotton when he produced our first 4th of July rodeo in Imperial Beach in '77 or '78. He was already a legend then, and made a lasting impression on me that only grew with every rodeo where we crossed paths.
I feel honored to have known him, even if only a little. I always made a point to look him up and pay my respects whenever I hit a rodeo he was producing. My sincere condolences to his entire family. He was a fine man and his loss will be felt for all time.

Thank you for your inspiration and quality boots. Great man Rest well all will see you soon.

RIP. Heaven got another great cowboy.

Never knew the man. But I was named after him.

First learned about you during RENO RODEO CATTLE DRIVE 2005 great man

Cowboy example. Great man and a gentleman.

RIP Cotton.

I have so many memories of Cotton and your family as a little girl. Cotton always had donuts with my dad in the morning at the donut shop, and I was lucky enough to tag along. (Doyle davis). He drilled all your water wells at the time.
I remember running all around your property dreaming. My mom worked for your store in accounting, But my favorite moments was just time listening to you and my dad talk.
I’ve always cherished them.

I loved rodeo, and to this...
