Thank you for sharing your Mother with so many.

Dear Carol,

We join in celebrating and thanking you for generously sharing your amazing Mother Henrietta, Countess de Hoernle. Your Mother's legacy of active leadership, guidance and participation in myriad ways to build a better and grateful community for all from our Military families to children and families in need to the enrichment of life through the arts and historic preservation.

Always remembered - always admired and loved - always missed.

Thank you for the...

What a wonderful caring person.

What a woman you were, Countess! You will be missed. A few weeks ago you told me how much you missed your neighbor and our mutual friend Ruth Wantshouse Who had pre-deceased you by a few months. Boca Raton will be forever grateful for all the many projects you have completed. My grandson played baseball on your many lighted fields. The granddaughters enjoyed father/daughter teas at the train station. I personally will miss our conversations on Sundays at The Grille.

The Countess' legacy is that she served as a role model for philanthropy. Her unselfish and prudent generosity has made Boca Raton a much better place within which to live, work and play. We will miss her dearly.

The Countess was truly a remarkable woman, deepest sympathy to her family, she will be missed especially by those who benefitted from her generosity.
