I last saw Craig when he gave me a ride home from a picnic at our 20th class reunion of East Anchorage High School in 1994. He was always an impressive individual to his peers -- athletically and intellectually. I mourn the loss of any of my friends and peers, and wish his family and friends the best. Craig will remain in my memory as an outstanding classmate of Wendler Junior High and East High School.

Craig was a wonderful friend for the past 40 years. He was a stand out in high school and a very competent attorney. He was always willing to go the extra mile for his friends. He will be greatly missed.

Very sad to hear of Craig's passing. His dad Frank was my father's (James Ridder) "tax man" since dad's arrival in Anchorage in 1958. Craig was also my parent's attorney. I spent many hours in Craig's office taking care of my parent's estate and he always had our best interests in mind. Thinking of Joanie as the Cook Legacy and business comes to an end after many years.

Haven't seen Craig since high school and I am sad to say that we were never close friends. We were, however, "kids from the same neighborhood". Wish I had stopped by, one of the thousand times I passed by the Cook Building in my travels around the city, Your family loss is shared, my prayers go out to you.

Craig was possibly the coolest kid I knew at Airport Heights Elementary.

Craig B'day 2003
Craig was one of my best friends for 30 years. I spent every birthday of his and mine with him and our friends. His kindness, wonderful sense of humor, competence, and generosity cannot be replaced in my heart. We partied together, climbed together, humped heavy packs in the Alaskan bush together, and spent hours on the phone together.
Craig, my friend and brother, I'll miss you. I do miss you.
