Craig A. Handwerker

Craig A. Handwerker, 37, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away in his sleep unexpectedly on August 15, 2016. He was born in Morristown, NJ on December 18, 1978. He was the beloved son of Barbara (Antonelli) and Andrew Handwerker of Mahwah, NJ and Boynton Beach, FL. He was also dearly loved by sister, Dawn Handwerker Leonardi of Newtown, CT and his brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Maureen Handwerker of Lafayette, CO; his 5 nieces and nephews Anthony & Mark Leonardi and Jessica, Benjamin and Christian Handwerker; and his great-aunt, Philomena Pelzer. Craig grew up in Morristown, NJ and was a proud alum of Delbarton School and Marquette University, where he earned his Biomedical Engineering degree and where he also loved to DJ. He truly loved being with his family & friends, music, golf, the beach, the NY Yankees, Manchester United and Premier League soccer and any time he could spend in New Jersey. He was larger than life and loved to make people laugh. His big smile and genuine heart will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He worked in the biomedical field for many years after graduating college. Craig was hired several years ago and was recently promoted to E-Commerce Manager of Bright Mountain Media, Inc. in Boca Raton, FL. He truly loved his work dealing with all branches of the military including veterans, all first-responders and also, all branches of local law enforcement in the areas of e-commerce and social media in his new position. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 26, 2017 10:30AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Anyone wishing to make donations in his memory and in lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Craig A. Handwerker Memorial Scholarship Fund at Delbarton School.
