Craig Long passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Craig was born in Guthrie Center, IA on October 11, 1954 to parents Dwayne and Bette Long. During his childhood Craig moved to Des Moines, where he spent the rest of his life. He graduated from Roosevelt in 1972 and then married his high school sweetheart Becky (Henry). During their time together, Craig was a devoted husband and father who provided a family that was full of fun and love. One of Craig's proudest accomplishments was becoming a grandpa and always jumped at the chance to spend time with his grandchildren. He endured a life of good times that were shared with many close friends.
Craig is survived by his wife of 45 years Becky. His children Bryan, Julie, Jodie (Paul) Carstenson, Scott (Holly), his Brother Kevin, and 9 grandchildren. Craig was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will be held at All Saints Catholic church in DSM on Saturday, July 8th at 10 AM.

I played little league baseball with Craig and we both went to Roosevelt high school. Haven't seen Craig since our youth. But never forgot the fun times we shared. I am sorry to hear of his passing. My sympathies to his family.
