Not sure what to say?

I was a fraternity brother of Craig at Penn State University in the early 1970s and got to know him well during his prayer and bible study meetings at his apartment. He was responsible for leading me to the Lord in July 1973. I will always remember him as a great friend, wonderful Christian mentor who loved the Lord, and for his impact on my life.

Craig, You were a great student, athlete, and friend at OHS. And, your life got even greater when you went on to Penn State. But your best achievements were realized in the life you created with your wife Janet, your children, and your friends. We have all been served well by you. May peace be with you as you rest.

Craig is someone I am proud to say was my friend. Craig was a kind compassionate man who loved the Lord. He is someone I truly respected. Craig was a wonderful Christian man whose compassion for other was unlimited. Craig Lyle made this world a better place. Heaven has welcomed a very special human being. The world needs more people like Craig. I will never forget Craig Lyle. My sincere condolences.

Our family is greatly saddened by the news of Craig's passing on. We know he is in paradise with our Lord. He was a true inspiration to me, and I am sure to everyone he knew, on living a Godly life. I will never forget him, and always be thankful for the time we spent together.

How fondly we remember Mr. Lyle from the days he shared Tim with us at JMU. We want to express our sympathy and love to the family. He was a wonderful man and so proud of Tim, as we all were. Love, Sid and JoAnn Smith
