Not sure what to say?

Craig was a wonderful friend who always made whatever we were doing, the BEST time ever. He was incredibly talented and impeccably professional at work, but I will always picture him looking at me with his sly smile and gleeful giggle, completely pleased with himself for catching me with a zinger. Underneath his playful exterior, he had the kindest heart, and I still miss him

Craig was a great designer, client and friend. He had a great sense of humor and a great sense of responsibility. His depth of understanding, patience and drive were inspiring. If you knew him I am sure you have just as many fun and funny stories as I do. Rest in peace Craig, you will be missed but not forgotten.

It is deeply saddening to hear about the loss of Craig. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

An example of his generous nature, Craig enlisted the architecture firm I had been working with at the time for a project on the Pixar Campus. My introduction to Craig was at a project meeting and tour of our office, where he demonstrated one of his trademark abilities - the agility from professional rigor and attention to detail to an unfeigned sense of...

He was my best roommate EVER! What a gentle and loving soul. I never missed that damn cat Mew but I always missed Craig. He taught me so much and we had so many good times. I sure hope I can see him again and that he knows so many are thinking of him.

Craig was a wonderful dancer, and so full of fun. He and I danced at a few weddings and industry parties and he always made me laugh. His energy was contagious. A lovely man. He left us too young.

Devastated to hear about the recent passing of my dear friend and champion Craig Payne.

My introduction to work and life in California back in 1999 was deeply influenced by his passion for design, radically welcoming tenacious spirit and gift for living life boldly with deep affection/generosity. His sense of style and great design talent were complimented by his patience and kindness. He was always the life of the party and a force of energy/nature that would draw people together...

Craig was one of the few in management outside my department who spoke with me when I was new, would call me by name, and engage in meaningful discussions for the years we both worked at Pixar.

He embodied the spirit of "Interesting people are interested".

Craig was such a kind hearted and fantastic person, who will be missed.

As the original Craig at Pixar, who teased him endlessly about being the fake Craig, I was quite saddened to hear of his exit. He was friendly, creative, and will be missed.

A greatly talented man. He will be missed.
