Not sure what to say?

Craig began to leave an entry in my La Entrada yearbook and then he scratched it out, but I could still read it. He had, boldly, written how he felt about me. It took a lot of nerve for him to have expressed himself to me that way. I was flattered then and have thought, fondly, of that moment for fourty six years, especially for the past ten or so.

Craig was a wonderful person and a terrific freshman year roommate at UCLA! I shall always have fond memories of our days at UCLA and our college friendship. I send my heartfelt condolences to the Rockhold family.

Just found out about this very sad news today reading an old Palo Alto Weekly. Craig was an inspiration to me with his dedication to physical fitness and his participation in open water swimming events. I will miss our chats at the University Club, and will remember him when I go there. My prayers are with the Rockhold family.

In loving memory of a wonderful person.

So sorry to hear of Craig's passing. What a vibrant, generous soul. Anne, I just learned of this Sunday night - I'm sorry I missed the open house. Will be in touch. Much love from me and Mike.

Missing you, Craig.

Such sad news. He is much missed. The world's been a better place because he has lived.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Craig my heart and prayers goes out to the Rockhold family

I am so sorry to learn of his passing. I went to school at Cal and had many games refd by Craig, and his personality was so genuine and welcoming. He was always excited to train newer referees, like myself at the time. He will absolutely be missed!
