I remember him very well from Ottawa HS. I know it was a long time ago but the fact that I still remember what a funny & nice guy he was after more than 40 years speaks well of him. Phil - I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your brother. I tried to contact him after the first of the year but I did not receive a reply. It was a privilege to be able to assist with his care for the time that I knew him. He was a kind, loving man who was always positive about his condition. Craig was the best. He always saw the positives in people, and he was a great friend to so many. Whenever he came up to our cottage, he seemed to have stops on the way up and on the way back to see his friends. Maybe one reason that he had so many friends was that he was always content, perfectly happy with a 8 year old car, as long as it had a set of clubs in the trunk and he had a friend to play with. He treasured people, not things.

I was a former student of Mr Saurman in the 1992-1993 school year at Union High school. He was a very mild mannered man who was easy to get along with. I'm glad to have known him and his memory remains. My comfort for your loss to all family and friends.
