Craig C. Towner, 67, of Montrose, Pa., passed away on Friday, August 15, 2008, at Meadow View Senior Living Center. He was born in Ithaca, N.Y., to the late Olney and Helen (Linaberry) Towner. His wife, Renee Towner, predeceased him. Surviving are his three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jones and significant other, Michael Reardon, Binghamton, N.Y., Patricia and Christopher Lewis, Brackney, Pa., Peggy and Kevin Cooper, Clarks Summit, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law, Damon and Kathleen Towner, Kirkville, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Caitlin Morgan, Nicholas Cooper, and Christopher Lewis; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dolores and John Chase, Trumansburg, N.Y., Lori Towner and J.C. Inhulsen, N.C.; stepmother, Winifred Towner, Fla.; many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 18, 2008, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Gerard F. Safko of the Holy Name of Mary Church officiating. Interment will be held in the Montrose Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank everyone on the staff at Meadow View, especially Lisa, for their assistance with their Dad over the past year and a half.
