Read MoreI was devastated to hear that Craig had passed away. As a former administrator of the Florida lime and avocado committees, I worked very closely with Craig, as he was an ongoing chairman. I just became aware of his passing, as I had moved to North Florida after I retired. My heart goes out to his family. He was very special to me and I am so sad. I know he is in heaven with our Lord. Growing up, I lived a block behind Craig on SW 53rd Avenue in South Miami where both of our families' homes were nestled in the woods and hidden from the streets, but we truly became friends during our time together many years ago in The Batchelors club of Miami and I have many fond memories of the time that we spent together.
