Funeral services for Master Sergeant Craig A. Wiese, USAF, 37, stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier City, Louisiana, and formerly of LeClaire will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 in the All Faith Chapel at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, downtown Davenport. Burial with Full Military Honors will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Craig died Friday, April 1, 2011 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Craig Anthony Wiese was born July 23, 1973 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of William B. and Claire L. (Anderson) Wiese. He graduated in 1991 from Pleasant Valley High School; where he participated in basketball, football and track. Craig was united in marriage to Wendy Marie Reed on April 25, 2007 in Bossier City. Craig enlisted in the Air Force following high school and attained the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a munitions specialist for the USAF. Memorials can be to the Wiese Memorial Fund to help establish an educational fund for his children. Survivors include his wife, Wendy, two children, Syler Wiese (3 years), and Sarah Wiese (6 months); his parents, Bill and Claire Wiese, LeClaire, Iowa; a brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Stefanie Wiese, Marion, Iowa, nephews; and his mother-in-law, Donna Reed.
