Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of Craig's passing. My sympathies to Elizabeth and his two girls, whom I knew when they were very young. I was one of the reporters who came to work on AL just at the time Craig was appointed its editor. I was a scared college kid who learned a lot about research and talking on the phone, as well as journalism, from Craig. I know I have at least one picture of those times and will be scanning and posting it here shortly.

Elizabeth, we were so glad we were able to visit you and Craig while he was still relatively able to have visitors. We have been for more than 50 years and will miss his quick wit and interesting personality. You are in our prayers. love, Ralph & Ruth Woodhull

Elizabeth, I am so sorry to hear of Craig. It was so sad but I know you will always have fond memories. He was certainly one of a kind. We met him at a very tough time in my life and he pretty much took over as a role model for my kids, mostly the older son. Their father was far away and I was a single mother raising four kids alone. He taught my son how to do many things, took him and the others places to do things. I will never ever forget him. The christmas parties, inviting my kids over to...

Goodbye, my friend. Let your brilliant wit and deep insight, intellect and profound ability to bring happiness and light to so many live on. I will miss your cheery voice and our lively conversations. My good friend went Home the same day as Our Lord arose; as usual, in the best of company. Thank you for your many words that will still influence others. My gentle genious.

Craig was one of a kind. The world is a better place because of him.

Our family met Craig and Elizabeth Wilson through the Kiwanis when I was in need of transportation due to foot problems. Craig took it upon himself to personally drive me to Medina and back for each appointment. Elizabeth answered a call for help when I had knee surgery and brought me home since my children could not drive. The conversations with both Craig and Elizabeth were so very interesting. Their answering machine held me captive, Craig would always come up with a zany dialogue to...

I met Mr. Wilson while babysitting my grandsons Logan and Bennett Miller. He was very patient with them and they respected him. He allowed them to check out his concrete 'critters' and to pick the cherry tomatoes. He lived his life with grace and class and left this earth the same way. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

First met Craig when I was part of the Akron Summit County Libary Information Division. (He had us on speed dial during his Action Line years, I think) Later tested him for Mensa admission (According to him, a prerequesite for courting Elizabeth) and attended his wedding to Elizabeth, a dear friend.(Obviously he passed both tests) He will be sadly missed and well remembered.
