Not sure what to say?

Barbara, I don't know if you remember me but I was close to Craig at the University of Utah. He had such a wonderful smile and always made me feel special and happy. A couple of years ago my husband and a fraternity brother of his tried to find him here in California. I'm so sorry we didn't know at that time he was in Utah. If would have a been so wonderful to see and talk to him again. This came as a surprise to hear of his passing. He will always hold a special place in my heart....

Barbara,
I would love to talk with you more about Craig. I had lunch with him about 25 years ago. He asked me if I was disgusted with him. I told him I always knew he was. A very talented man. I loved like a brother. From 1953 to 1964, the group of guys in our ward our age were a pretty close bunch. Tom Westbye and I have been exchanging emails and texts since the news of Craig's death. We both appreciated his friendship.
You can contact me at [email protected].
Love to you and...

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

A man of many talents, Craig was beloved by all who knew him and made huge contributions to whatever he was a part of.

Craig was a wonderful man and I knew him for many years as the president (and a founding member) of The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, which this year marks it's 40th anniversary. Below is a link to a conversation between Craig and a newer member talking about their chorus experiences. The jewel here comes at about the 12 minute mark with Craig's recollections of concert tours in Eastern Europe with performances in Berlin, Moscow, and Tallinn, Estonia. ...

What a complete punch in the stomach this was. While I haven't seen Craig since our 50th East High reunion, we were close in our years in school. I visited him several times when we lived in Southern California. Rest in Peace brother.

Craig Allen
