Not sure what to say?

I'm just hearing about this today, March 10, 2023. I worked years with Crispin in Hartford. We were activists trying to get a bill passed for equal rights for LGB (no T or Q at that time). That was the late 80's. Crispin moved to the west coast, and we lost touch, but I never forgot him. He was so dynamic and so full of energy. I think that's where I got my energy from. He was a true friend, and I'm sorry we lost touch. Good journey, my friend. Bill Cannon, Coventry, CT

I was a high school friend of Crispin's. We were Scout and Jem in the production of To Kill a Mockingbird in 1975! Our sophomore year we both were abroad, and he came from England to Bahrain to visit me for Christmas because the air ticket was cheaper! And then returned again for Spring Break. I last visited with him in Jan 2020 when he was in Alexandria. He was a wonderful human being, who was living life to its fullest. The loss is immense. Condolences to his husband, Luis and his...

I am so sorry to hear from a fellow high school friend about Crispin's death. He was next to me in French class, and was always a perfect and kind gentleman to me, and was very well loved among our friends. I'm glad to hear he followed up on his French and lived in France where I am now. I'm not surprised he had a remarkable life and career and was always appreciated and dedicated wherever life took him, and it was a full life even if cut short. I send warm condolences to all his family...

Crispin was such a bright light! I was his dental hygienist for years and always looked forward to seeing him. He and Luis were just the most handsome couple you'd ever see! He was so passionate about his work and life!

Crispin, Such a privilege to know you and spend time with you, working together and sharing many laughs in your hideaway office at SFSO. You were a bright light, always positive and generous with kind words and encouragement. I will miss you, dear friend. May you rest in peace. My sympathies to your devoted husband Luis, your loving family, and your extensive network of friends across the globe.

Sending deepest condolences from some of Crispin's friends in Humboldt. The world has lost a kind, courageous, and truly decent man. Our hearts go out to Luis.

A true loss. I worked with Crispin at United during which time he shared many things about his private life with me. His openness made him a great ambassador for the LGBT+ community. His bright blue eyes always shined with energy. He will be missed.
