Crystal Lynn "Crissy" Morris Clark
Crystal Lynn "Crissy" Morris Clark, 36, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012, at her home in Albemarle County, Virginia.
She was born on June 12, 1976, the daughter of Timothy R. Morris and Nancy R. Morris of Albemarle County, and granddaughter of the late George and Gertrude Meadows of Crozet and the late Katherine Frazier Stevens. In addition to her parents, Crystal leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 20 years, Michael W. Clark; her son, Logan W. Clark, who was her pride and joy; and a step-daughter, Samanthia B. Stover, all of Albemarle County; her brother, Timothy "Dinky" Morris and his wife Amy, of Fluvanna; and her sister, Tanya "Sissy" Morris and her fianc‚, James Harlow, of Albemarle County. She also leaves behind her mother- in-law, Connie Clark of Charlottesville; two brothers-in-law, Johnny Clark and his fianc‚e, Melody Gonzales, of Greene County, and Scott Gibson; two sisters-in-law, Tracey and Katelyn Gibson, all of Charlottesville; her beloved nieces and nephews, Devin, Lauren, Jared, Jacob and Olivia Morris, Colton Harlow, Brianna Marsh and Amaya Clark. Crystal also leaves behind her many aunts and uncles, and many, many cousins, all who will cherish their memories of her. Gary and Judy Morris of Free Union, and Katherine Garrahan and Sammy Horton of Greene County will also miss her. There were also special cousins, Katie Thacker, Vincent Garrahan and Jessica Barbour.
Crystal also loved her "surrogate family", the Kassay family as well as her two best friends, Tonya Willoughby and Kelley Kassay-Thomas. Crystal "Crissy" will be forever in our hearts; we will miss her contagious smile and free spirit; and the love that she had for her son "Lo Lo" will live on. She left us much too soon. Her family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at Hill and Wood Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012, at the Hill and Wood Chapel with Pastor David Frazier officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens. Friends may send condolences to her family at www.hillandwood.com.
