I had him as , Principal Mr Ellis was a Wonderful person ,Always fair ; All around super guy . I can still hear the wall echoing as he Called my Name. RIP Mr . Ellis Job Well Done .

Mr Ellis taught me how to swim at the Indiana Ave. YMCA . He was a very kind man but no-nonsense. I remember his passion for basketball while I was in high school. Rest well Mr. Ellis

Crystal Ellis touched my heart the moment I met him. When I was the principal at Nathan Hale, Mr. Ellis and I discussed how things were going at the school. His love for the students and the Nathan Hale Community was shared during our conversation. He was so kind and such a genuine southern man. We had some great laughs together His last question to me was "Have you eaten your Lunch yet?" Crystal stated, "Always eat your Lunch!!!!" Mr. Ellis thank you! I always ate my lunch after that...
