What started as a happenstance meeting as her hair stylist turned into a deep friendship. I saw her every week to blow out her hair and talk. She always put our appointments in her schedule is "Date with Abby." I noticed her absence more as the weeks go by. I had seen her for a year. Many appointments. Many laughs. Many tears. Crystl was a friend like no other. After meeting when she worked for the state, and we shared in helping the same children, she became a friend I considered family. She will be so greatly missed. Every time the sun shines, I'll think of her beauty that she shared with the world in so many ways.

Beautifully written obituary. Crystl and I were social workers with DCFS in Moses Lake before her twins were born. Such a class act!
