Curtis A. Adams, age 56, of Mount Ida, formerly of Jonesboro, departed this life on Thursday, June 10, 2010.

He was born on November 23, 1953, at Jonesboro, the son of Harold K. Adams and Clara Ruth Taylor Adams. He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Clyde Minton; and his grandparents, J. H. and Eula Taylor and Carl and Bobbie Adams.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War serving on the USS Constellation and the John F. Kennedy. He was Christian in his faith. Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear that Curtis went to his final muster, I pray that Jesus will fill his family with the peace beyond understanding. I know that our paths crossed in life as I too served as a Corpsman aboard the Connie. I also share your loss as we were fellow bikers. I know that Curtis is riding on the Golden Streets of Heaven and God is the Ride Captain! God bless you who mourn for He will give you peace! Mike Turner HM2 USN / CVA 64

Bob and I are sorry to hear of Curt's passing. I never had the pleasure to meet Curt but have heard wonderful stories from Rita and Roger and always appreciated his kindness to my mother. He made her feel very special. May peace be with the Adams family at this difficult time.
