Mr. William Curtis Partin age 74, and Mrs. Dorothy Campbell Partin age 76, both of Toccoa, GA, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015. Curtis was born January 13, 1941 in Cleveland, GA to the late Marion and Pauline Dorsey Partin. He was a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. Dorothy was born May 10, 1938 in Toccoa to the late James Hubert and Mary Fowler Campbell. She was a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church and was a seamstress. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Sherry Partin of Carnesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Mark Helms of Raleigh, NC, and Cynthia and George Miller of Eastanollee; grandchildren, Christopher and Lauren Partin, Kristin Partin, and Ryan Partin; and a great-grandchild, Mason Partin; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Curtis is survived by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Dorothy is survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Curtis and Dorothy were preceded in death by a son, Mark Deal. Curtis was preceded in death by a sister. Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, February 13, 2015 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Tommy Childress and the Rev. Dwayne Eller officiating. Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery with military honors provided for Mr. Partin by the United States Marine Corps. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm Thursday, February 12, 2015 Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
