So sorry to hear. I was a friend of Curtis´ brother Lee and every/any time I spent with him he was always a positive and supportive force to me. I truly appreciated his kindness and as a kid, this gentle giant made an impact in my life. Rest in peace Curtis.

Grandpa I'll always love you...you have taught me so much on now to change myself for the better and to be a young productive woman. The years will go on and on and you'll always be with me. I want you to be proud of me while your up their grandpa I'm going to become the social worker and full fill my dream and yours. I'm going to graduate this year and every step across the stage I take I will be thinking about you and how proud you will be. I love you grandpa and let God be with you .

Thanks for being the best dad a kid could've asked for. You were my hero and I won't forget the many lessons you taught and most of all I went forget your sense of humor, your bluntness and how remained happy even on your worst days. I got memories of you to cherish me for a lifetime
