Not sure what to say?

He was our Pastor and Friend in Findlay Illinois. A wonderful man who served and blessed our community.

We are saddened by the death of Rev. Eaker. We always enjoyed being with him at various clergy gatherings or at the camp in the summer. He was filled with the love of Christ, and happily shared that love with others. May your family find God's peace and comfort in this time of grief and loss. Rev. Patty Johansen and Rev. Mike Crawford

Your dad was appointed to our Richfield Church in 1971 (Payson, Plainville, Richfield). We loved your folks--they were always happy, friendly & willing to go the extra mile. Somewhere I have pictured where we surprised them with cake & punch on their 25th wedding anniversary. We have good memories as you do. God bless all of you.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Rev Eaker. Our sympathy to your families. He performed the wedding ceremony for my wife and I in the Stewardson church back on 9/29/1990, still happily married. Thanks to Rev Eaker and his wife for helping us start on our journey together. God Bless

We were so saddened to hear the news yet we know of his faith and now joyous reception as one of God's faithful servants into the kingdom of heaven.
Rev Eaker (Curtis) and his wife Laverne served in our home town of Findlay and they were wonderful to all in our community. They were also instramental in my wife and I entering the ministry of the united methodist church in 1989. We still serve after these 22 years. To the kids and family: Please know that his legacy is a blessed one...

Mike, Allen& Beth& families: So sorry to hear about your Dad. Your mother and dad was so good to our family when we were going thru a difficult time. He married Missy & Matt in Charleston and knew he was in Paris, but didn't know he was in a nursing home. May God Bless you at this difficult time.
