Send FlowersCurtis E. Flatt, of Birmingham, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the age of 96. He was a faithful preacher of the Gospel for 70 years, serving in various capacities in the ministry. Mr. Flatt was a combat veteran of WWII in Europe. He is survived by his daughter, Candace Heard (C.B.); 2 grandchildren, Barry Heard and Charlie Heard (Katy); and 1 great granddaughter, Lillian Cherry. The family will receive friends from 1-2, Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Service will follow at 2:00 in the chapel, Jeremy Dehut and Dwight Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
