It is with great sadness we announce the untimely passing of Curtis L. Goode Jr., at his home, in Austell, Georgia on, June 9, 2020. He was in his 34th year of happiness and grandeur. Our beloved, Curtis Goode, Jr. was born on August 3, 1985 in Providence, RI, to the parents of Vicki L. Stallworth and Curtis L. Goode, Sr. with dreams of becoming a Truck Driver. Curtis started his early childhood education (Pre-K) at Bishop Mcvinney School in Providence, followed by Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary in Providence. He then attended Holy Name of Providence as well as Slater Middle school. Curtis successfully completed his high school education at Shea High School, in Pawtucket, RI.


He obtained employment at Bertuccis Restaurant and ultimately, followed his dreams of becoming a truck driver and received his CDL from New England Tractor Trailer Training School in Pawtucket, RI. His Truck driving career began at Thomsen’s food service in East Providence and then transferred to Gordon’s Food Service. Through Gordon’s Food Service, Curtis was afforded an opportunity to Transfer to Atlanta, GA. His trucking career soared and ended with Rogers Cartage Trucking Company family in Mableton, GA. Curtis is preceded in death by his Late Maternal Grandfather, Lonnie U. Stallworth and his Paternal late Grandparents, Elizabeth Ann Goode and Samuel Goode, Jr. Left to cherish his Memory forever, Aunts -Terrie A. Stallworth, Lona L. Stallworth, Shawyn M. Stallworth, Cynthia Goode, and Rhonda Goode. His Maternal Grandmother Elsie Stallworth, his parent’s Vicki L. Stallworth and Curtis L. Goode Sr., Uncles - Jason K. Stallworth, Kenneth Goode, Kevin Goode, and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.


His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:45 AM in The Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Visitation from 9-10:45 AM, prior to the Service in the Funeral Home.


Due to the current restrictions, there is a limit of 15 people in the funeral home at any one time. Guests will be asked to remain in their car upon arrival to the funeral home and will be invited in as space allows.
