Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Hanson's passing. He was a wonderful teacher and I truly enjoyed having him for Driver's Ed. He was also such a great addition to the Iowa State Legislature. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and the rest of the family.

For those of us fortunate enough to meet this bright spot along life's road, I wonder who will replace him or if that is even possible. Curt will be easy to remember for his helpfulness and a rare listening ear. The light is not so bright today on earth, however heaven celebrates for the waiting is over.

Peace my Brother

So sorry to hear of Curt's passing. Curt was a model of professionalism in education. As a young driver educator in the 1970's and beyond, I looked to Curt for advice and direction. Likewise in the Iowa Legislature, he was a voice of reason. He touched so many lives in a positive manner.

Dear Hansen Family,
How we all remember Mr. Hansen in Drivers Ed...what patience, what fortitude, what courage! And then later as a Representative. He just came to pay his respects to Dad on June 3rd! He will be fondly remembered always. You are in our prayers.

Our entire community is the richer for having had Curt Hanson as our representative and friend. We will miss his cheery smile and pleasant words, and his faithful happy birthday phone calls. Thanks to his family for being willing to share him with his constituents!

Very sad to hear of Curt's passing. He really kept the IASE group(Driver Ed.) in line and in good shape. Plus he had a sense of humor to go along with it. I was concerned when he left IASE and won the special election to be in the Iowa House of Representatives, but that career moved move proved to have many positives with Curts' special caring for Education and Driver Education in the state of Iowa. My condolences to the family! Ken Huelman IASE President/Business Mgr.

Diane you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Just recently I was telling my husband that the people in our area in Wisconsin, sure didn't have Mr. Hanson for Driver's Ed.

REST IN PEACE! SYMPATHIES TO THE FAMILY!

So sorry to hear of Curt's passing. He was truly one of the good guys. I know he worked tiresly both for driver ed and as a state Representative. Thank you Diane and family for sharing him with the rest of us.
