Not sure what to say?

It is obvious to me that Curt loved and cared for his entire family, because I can see his same traits in the lives of his children. He passed on much wisdom and caring to each of you.

My father will be missed! He was dedicated and faithful to my mother and his children.Being truthful and self-reliant was very important. He liked to travel, thru the national geographic. He didn't believe in spending money on frivilous things if others were going hungry. I wished he could have dreamed a little bigger and had a few more luxuries. He lived what he wanted to teach us. It was my privilege to be on the staff at Lynch Plaza for several years with Curt Hoyle. He was aa very pleasant and a devoted teacher who worked diligently for the success of his students and profession. My sincere condolences to his family.

Mr. Hoyle was a gifted teacher that went way beyond teaching the basic subject at hand. He was thought provoking and challenged his pupils to evaluate issues from several, and often, conflicting points of view. I was very fortunate to have had him as my 6th grade teacher 1961/1962. My condolences to his family, and thanks for sharing him with so many young students.

I have fond memories of working with Curtis (and Marjean) wth Christian Educators in Portland. He was always cheerful, dedicated, and very dependable--such a consistent example of Christian love and devotion.

Mr. Hoyle was a fabulous teacher. I had the blessing of having him for 2 years (4th and 5th) at Lynch Plaza Elementary. He was one of my most favorite and well loved teachers. I remember doing the ham radio and the electricity ball. In 4th grade I fell in love with the Lewis and Clark and Sacajawea story. He was passionate about his subjects. He will be missed greatly and Mr. Hoyle I cannot wait to see you once again and that infectious smile! Julie Shelton 1980&1981

It is said that a father can give no greater gift to his children than to love their mother. So your gift is of the greatest value, for truly Curt loved your mother! What a dear man and how he will be missed! But remember he is now with the Lord and "far better".
