Curtis Ryan Moore, age 38, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born July 16, 1986 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Charles Hugh “Chuck” Moore and Pamela Gayle Edwards Moore.  Curtis graduated from Vinton County High School with the class of 2005.  He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and scrappin’.  Curtis is survived by his parents, Chuck and Pam Moore of Hamden; daughter, Journeigh Moore of Wellston; son, Mayjor Moore of Hamden; brother, Bill Moore (Amanda Muncy) of Jackson; niece, Kamryn Muncy; step-children, Mayson and Madolyn; special friend, Tricia Wilburn; best friend, Whitney Downard, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Jean Moore and Albert and Barbara Ruckle.  Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 20th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Graveside service will follow the calling hours at 1:30 p.m. at the Salem Cemetery in Wellston with Pastor Josh Landrum officiating. I wasn’t prepared to get this news tonight. We would argue with one another until we were both blue in the face. So many memories from childhood into adulthood. Rest Easy, Curt.

Oh Pam and Chuck my heart broke when I read this, I am so sorry for your loss, such a fun guy to be around always a good time with Curt :) I hadn’t seen him for a long time so I had no ideal he was fighting cancer, such a terrible disease , again I am sorry for you loss many prayers and thoughts sent you way.

Reading this, hits a little different when it's one of your classmates you graduated with. The memories we have from our high school days. :( Rest easy Curt ,and Prayers for your family and kids.
