To The Reuben Family Praying for y'all at this difficult time. Give your burbens to the Lord and He will lift the burden from your hearts. Could not be with you at this time be cause of health reasons. I will call you soon.

Curtis and I have been friends since 1982. His last outing was with me. I brought him to the grocery to get some water. We spent about two hours together that day and he had a great time just getting out. He battled cancer for a while but he was unable to beat it. God wanted Curtis to come home. He talked about his children often. He loved them and wished he could visit them more often and do more for them. Curtis and I were very good friends and he will truly be missed.

I met Curtis when he and I worked a summer job at Dunn elementary school. Although we’ve lost touch over the years, I have always considered him as a good friend. I will always remember Curtis as someone whose friendship was an inexpressible comfort.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your immeasurable lost. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories of Curtis bring you much comfort.
